William H. Lewis, Jr. (Bill)
Chairman and CEO

Bill has the following designations: Fellow, Society of Actuaries, Conference of Consulting Actuaries; Member, American Academy of Actuaries, and Enrolled Actuary.

Bill is a former partner and founder of Lewis & Ellis, Inc. For 33 years he was a consulting actuary to insurance companies and organizations with qualified employee benefit plans. He retired from Lewis & Ellis, Inc. on December 31, 1998, and he now devotes his time, efforts, and extensive knowledge to Maximum Corporation.

James G. Lewis (Jim)
President, COO, Director

Jim’s background is computer science. He came to work for Central Security in 1988 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Baylor University. He has a FLMI designation from LOMA. Jim is an active participant in the American Council of Life Insurers. For 2010, he serves on the Financial Services Steering Committee, the Solvency Committee, and the Reinsurance Committee of the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI). He also serves on the board of the Texas Association of Life and Health Insurers (TALHI) and the board of directors of the Texas Life, Accident, Health & Hospital Service Insurance Guaranty Association.

Kayleen L. Welsh,
Assistant Vice President, Director

Kayleen joined Central Security in 1996 as a part of our Y2K conversion project. Her areas of expertise include reinsurance, accounting, plan setup, reserves, and computer conversions.
